Do any of the Banksy pieces you saw on the video relate/connect to the assigned art piece you and your group reviewed last Friday? Similar style? Message? 

Further - Do you agree with all/some/none of the messages Banky's pieces provide to the public? Why or why not?

Paragraph Structure & Transition Words: NOTES FOR STUDENTS TO TAKE - there will be a quiz on this information - TBD - Oct 9 FYI. Friday. Mini. 

  • Topic Sentences: A strong topic sentence introduces the main idea of the paragraph, clearly stating what the paragraph will be about.
  • Body Paragraph Transitions: Transitions help connect ideas, ensuring the writing flows logically. (2-3 examples).
  • Conclusion Transitions: Conclusion should restate the main point and tie everything together while guiding the reader to a final thought.
  • NOTES:
  • Different types of transition words and phrases:
    • For Adding Information: furthermore, additionally, also
    • For Contrast: however, on the other hand, nevertheless
    • For Example: for instance, for example, such as
    • For Cause and Effect: therefore, as a result, consequently
    • For Summarizing: in conclusion, overall, to sum up
